Several postings ago, I had the pleasure of introducing Dr. Suzanne Langford as a Savant editor. Since then she's not only been busy editing, but has served successfully as an interim Editor-in-Chief. Now, I'm pleased to announce her appointment to the position of Editor-in-Chief. No "interim" anymore.

David Shinsato Joins Savant Editor Staff

David Shinsato is glad to be continuing with Savant, this time as an Editor (in addition to proofreader). He's a still the laid back guy who likes to read, serve at church, and hang out with his friends. He's recently engaged, and he and partner are planning to marry in December of this year. He's also taking the necessary steps to becoming a freelance direct response copywriter. Until then, he'll also be working as a busser, then hopefully a waiter, at Gyotaku Japanese restaurant in Pear...

Four New Savant Editors and One New Proofreader

2013's been a busy year for Savant Books and Publications (SBAP), Savant Bookstore Honolulu (SBH) and Savant Distribution (SD). The year saw SBAP and it's subsidiaries once again well in the black despite the bleak economic environment. For example, while Barnes and Noble closed it's Kahala Mall bookstore, SBH at Hawaii Kai and SBH at Kokua Market (University District) this year effectively doubled our online sales income, as well as 2013 author royalties.
